In Lagos, previously home to the 1st indoor slave market and the centre for the slave trade in Europe, you will have the opportunity to visit the Capela Dourada de S. António (Golden Chapel) and the Castle. The statue of Henry the Navigator stands proudly in the square.
Sagres, famous for it’s breathtaking coastline due to the stunning rock formations and the Sagres Fortress are definitely worth a visit. Cabo S.Vicente, the most southerly point in Europe which is home to Farol (Lighthouse) which has guided many sea voyagers over the centuries is worth the journey to the “end of the world” .
