The award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course is nestled amongst the picturesque foothills of the Eastern Algarve . Monte Rei lets you escape from the daily grind as its secluded location lets you enjoy all the tranquility and beauty that surrounds it. The course has an abundance of water hazards and is not short of tricky bunkers either, but nothing can take away the amazing beauty around it.
Alcantarilha – Amendoeira Faldo Course
The course, named after the iconic golfing figure, Sir Nick Faldo is in the district of Silves. Faldo’s Course won, the title of Portugal’s Best Golf Course, given by World Golf Awards in 2016. Nick stated that,
“The land at Amendoeira is dramatic and the project has the potential to be a real talking point in the Algarve. With so many courses in the region that’s no mean feat.”
